Day 1: City Tour
The Incan Empire’s Capital invites you to enjoy a wonderful time that is full of history, magic, mystery and the most amazing vacations. Itinerary: We will pick you up directly from your hotel (9am or 1pm) Places to visit:
  • Qoricancha (The Sun temple). - The most amazing and beautiful architecture you have ever seen.
  • The Cathedral - Beautiful colonial monument of great artistic value that presents paintings from the Cusquenian School of Art.
  • Saqsayhuaman - Located 2 km from Cusco city, it was built using enormous carved rocks joined with compelling precision.
  • Q’enqo - An important Incan ceremonial culture center that was an astronomical observatory during the Incas time. It was used for sacrifices and death rituals of the Incas.
  • Puca Pucara - Known as the “red fortress” due to its reddish tints resulting from the vast amounts of iron in its rocks.
  • Tambomachay - Made up of a combination of finely carved stones, water fountains, aqueducts to carry water from the nearby springs.

Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour
We start this beautiful journey leaving Cusco city in the morning in order to visit the charming town of Pisac (2,970masl-9,744ft). Pisac is very famous because the artwork in silver, gold and the precious stones they make. You will have the opportunity to visit a factory. After that we drive up to the Incan ruins, which lie atop a hill at the entrance to the valley. Impressive agricultural terraces dating from Inca times are appreciated. After our visit, we drive to Urubamba district to enjoy a nice buffet lunch. Next, we visit the town of Ollantaytambo (2,790masl-9,153ft). Ollantaytambo boasts an impressive archeological site and a well-preserved Inca town structure. This was the state of Pachacutec Emperor who conquered the region, built the town and the ceremonial center. Ollantaytambo belongs to the 15th century; you will appreciate the Sun temple, astronomical observatories, enormous carved stones and many more cultural sites. After exploring the amazing Inca site and exploring a little bit the town we take the train to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Machu Picchu
Early in the morning, we take the bus (5.30am) to Machupicchu. Machupicchu opens to the public at 6.am and by bus will take 20 minutes driving. After we show our passports at the entrance to start exploring and we walk up to the postcard spot to enjoy the classical view. The guide will explore with you the most important buildings (2 1/2 hours) where you will be able to take numerous breathtaking pictures, appreciating the beauty of this citadel. You will have the option of booking the Huaynapicchu mountain (only 400 people a day are allowed, divided in 2 groups of 200), you will have the option to climb and enjoy a nice view from a different angle. After the nice experience visiting Machupicchu, you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and to the take the train back to Ollantaytambo and driving back to Cusco city.
